Porcupine Tree is een geweldige groep, als het enkel een lijst was met progressieve rock stonden ze er zeker in. Ja, in principe zouden er ook nog meer Pink Floyd, King Crimson en Yes - nummers in gestaan hebben, maar ik moest natuurlijk doseren ;) nu ik de lijst opnieuw bekijk ben ik een paar nummers van Genesis vergeten, maar ach dit was mijn eerste gevoel toen ik de lijst maakte en ik blijf erbij ;) van de psychedelische jaren '60 tot de progressieve en hard rock jaren '70. Dat is gewoon grotendeels mijn smaak en die tijden komen nooit meer terug... Veel Progressieve Rock (mijn favoriete rockgenre), en ook vooral een ode aan de beste popgroep ooit: The Beatles ;) Voor de rest onsterfelijke rockklassiekers van legendarische groepen zoals Led Zeppelin, Queen, etc... mss wat oudbollig voor een 20 jarige als ik, maarja en met Pearl Jam (Grunge), U2 (pop/rock), Oasis(britpop), Dream Theater (Progressieve Metal), Guns N Roses(Amerikaanse Hard Rock) en Jeff Buckley (alternatieve rock) heb ik toch ook enkele meer naar hedendaagse rock neigende muziek (allezja ik had natuurlijk ook nog Coldplay, The White Stripes, Radiohead ofzo kunnen erin zetten, maar ik mag maar 100 posten ;) )
