The newer sound of trap music incorporated sounds from other music genres like electro, breakbeat, house music and dubstep.

Trap has been gaining popularity since 2004 due to the release of landmark albums such as T.I.'s Trap Muzik, Young Jeezy's Lets Get It: Thug Motivation 101 and Gucci Mane's Trap House.[4] Further releases by Yo Gotti, Shawty Lo and lately Future, 2 Chainz and Chief Keef have significantly increased the visibility of trap music.

Dit is echt de grootste aids muziek OOIT, normaal boeit het me geen flikker want dan luister ik er gewoon niet naar. Mar tegenwoordig verpest het gewoon mijn uitgaansnachten:moop:. En niet die van mij alleen je ziet iedereen los gaan en klaar voor de epische stukken in house/hardstyle, noem maar op en dan komt deze aids weer langs. Iedereen staat er ineens like WTF is this shit?

Trap is gewoon dik. Allemaal mensen die geilen op Yellow Claw, laat je ze wat anders horen van trap en dan vinden ze 't niks terwijl Yellow Claw gewoon hetzelfde draait. :-D

Vind het wel jammer dat alles steeds meer herkauwd wordt. Zag je eerst al met al die brostep fags, daarna de hele electro en prog house scene en nu met trap. Vind trap dan ook wel hard, maar 75% gooi ik direct de prullenbak weer in.
