Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope - Pilot Episode

 

Hope is worth fighting for. In Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope, Gohan and Trunks fight against the unstoppable Androids #17 and #18 and try to save as many human lives as possible. The young Trunks must grow up quickly and learn from his mentor, Gohan; but with battles to fight on both the outside and inside, how long can they endure, and where will they find a light of hope?

 

This series is an adaptation of “The History of Trunks” TV Special. In this timeline, Goku and the other Z Warriors are dead. This is the story of Gohan and Trunks in their battle to survive against the Androids.

Net gekeken, cool

Had het filmpje gisteren gezien. Special effects waren vet en de vechtscènes ook wel, al vond ik dat jochie dat Trunks moest voorstellen wel erg geforceerd 'acteren'. Dat laatste stompje tegen die rots sloeg ook nergens op :P

Ik ben zelf altijd van mening dat je bij dit soort projecten de acteerprestaties van de acteurs niet zo nauw moet nemen. Het zijn voor het grootste gedeelte mensen die hun vrije tijd in een project steken, en dan kan je geen Leonardo Di Caprio verwachten vind ik.

 

Vond het zelf heel vet, vooral het gevoel wat ze neerzetten in de eerste paar scenes is sterk. Je krijgt het gevoel van de wereld waar Future Trunks uit komt, je ziet de wanhoop. Ook SSJ heel sterk gedaan binnen de mogelijkheden, met zo'n transformatie is het heel lastig om het niet over de top te maken, en vind dat ze het heel simpel maar doeltreffend hebben neergezet.

Je hebt helemaal gelijk hoor, maar vond die Trunks iets te... Gohan daarentegen prima acteerwerk hoor, dus daar hoor je me niet over! Al met al goed gedaan, ben benieuwd hoeveel delen we nog te zien krijgen :)

Ik zeg dit voordat ik ga kijken: Android 18 is lekker en ik hoop dat deze serie beter is dan die film uit 2009 (Dragonball Z: Evolution).

Ja, die hebben zichzelf ontiegelijk in de vingers gesneden toen ze een poging waagde de officiele rechten te verkrijgen. Na het Dragonball Evolution debacle was het te verwachten dat de mensen in Japan niet stonden te wachten op een Europese/Amerikaanse live-action film, al helemaal niet nu ze dmv anime movies de serie weer nieuw leven in willen blazen. Daardoor hebben ze besloten om niet verder te gaan met de live action trailers van de saga's. Zonde, maar een fan-project (wat goed, maar niet uitstekend was) op deze manier officieel willen maken is gewoon dom, mensen die een beetje Dragonball gevolgd hebben door de jaren weten dat de rechten het grootste probleem zijn geweest.

Ik zeg dit voordat ik ga kijken: Android 18 is lekker en ik hoop dat deze serie beter is dan die film uit 2009 (Dragonball Z: Evolution).

Nu ik dit gekeken heb zeg ik: Android 18 is nog steeds lekker en (wat vele hier al zeiden) dat jongetje is geen acteertalent. Maar ik vond de pilot in z'n geheel wel een leuke aflevering.
