English Stadium Backgrounds Pack (FULL-SCREEN Version) v1.0

Football Manager 2007

by TRFC (champ.manager@gmail.com)

===

[10/10/2006]

*** This is the FULL-SCREEN version of this pack - this means that the pictures are a smaller resolution (1024x768) than the other pack available by myself, and so the images will appear normally when being played in full-screen mode. If you use this pack and then play the game in windowed mode, the images will be stretched in size and the quality will become POOR. If you play in windowed mode then PLEASE download the WINDOWED version of this pack. ***

Hi, thanks for downloading my English stadium backgrounds pack. This download includes backgrounds for every English team from the Premiership to the Conference North and South, as well as even lower league teams. In total, there are a massive 230 stadiums.

Please note that I realise not all background images are of fantastic quality. Strangely, even in this day and age, there are some stadiums that are a nightmare to get a decent photo of using the internet, so I apologise for the few stretched images included. I tried my best. If you have any better photos then please feel free to email me at the address at the top of this readme file and I may include them in a new release!

Special thanks to Eilif Krokmyrdal for supplying the lower-league images this time last year (how time flies!), and to Sports Interactive for creating a game that has given me such happiness for years and years. As far as I can see, you guys do no wrong and I wish that you got more positive comments than you do. I have never experienced a crash or a show-stopping bug in years of happy life-escapism using your product. Thank you.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (using WinZip - I recommend downloading WinZip if you don't have it)

---

BEFORE YOU START ... Make sure that, in your FM 2007 preferences, the "background changes" tick-box is TICKED.

* Firstly, with FM 2007 NOT running, double-click My Computer, and double-click the hard drive you've installed Football Manager 2007 on (usually Local Disk C:). Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen, and click "Folder Options". Click the "View" tab, and make sure that, under "hidden files and folders", the "show hidden files and folders" button is dotted.

* Then, double-click Documents and Settings, followed by the folder of the Windows account you are logged into (if multiple users on the PC play FM 2007, you will have to go through this procedure when logged on in their accounts as well). Double-click Application Data, then Sports Interactive, then Football Manager 2007, then Cache. All of the folders inside this directory should be deleted.

* Finally, select all files in this ZIP file (apart from this readme file), press "extract", specify the "extract to" directory as your Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2007/data/graphics/pictures directory (this is usually found in Program Files to begin with), and click the "extract" button.

Now you're all set!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (not using WinZip)

---

If you're using the Windows XP-bundled version of WinZip, "Compressed Folders" (what are you thinking?!), then firstly follow the steps above down to step two. Then left-click "backgrounds", click "edit" from the menu at the top and click "copy to folder". Then select your Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2007/data/graphics/pictures directory. And that should be it!

If you require any assistance then please feel free to email me at the address at the top of this readme. Or you could just email me on the 19th of this month (October) and wish me a happy 22nd birthday, that would be nice. =)

I hope you enjoy this download and I hope you enjoy Football Manager 2007 - I know I am. Enjoy!
